Hip & Knee Pain
Hip pain
If you’re feeling pain in this area or something doesn’t feel quite right, it’s best not to ignore it. Your hip supports your daily activities and has one of your body’s largest weight-bearing joints.
So whether you’re feeling stiff, experiencing restricted movement or you’re in pain, we’d advise getting the injury treated as soon as possible to limit future problems.
We see all sorts of hip conditions, from muscle tears to tendon injuries right up to hip arthritis and our team of experienced and professional clinicians are here to help.
Knee pain
We hear you. Knee pain is frustrating. As one of the most used parts of the lower limb, restricted movement here can really get in the way of doing what you enjoy.
Whether it’s down to a sudden twist while at work or a muscle tear while out running, It doesn’t matter if there is arthritis, or meniscal tear, we’re here to help get you back to achieving your short and longer term goals.
Knee injuries can happen as a result of everyday activities or a specific sport or trauma. We’ll get to the root cause by using our range of assessment tools, which may include a 3D gait analysis or strength testing with a focus on diagnosing the problem and providing a personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan.
We’ll assess your symptoms and work with you to create a plan that fits with your lifestyle and gets you back to doing what you love.
We also work closely with sport and exercise medicine consultants and orthopaedic surgeons so if you need a referral we can organise that quickly for you.
We also can help organise any imaging x-ray, MRI and Ultra sound scans if they are needed
