AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill

The treadmill that helps you walk and run pain free and can leave you floating.

The AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill incorporates patented NASA Differential Air Pressure (DAP) technology, which uses a precise air calibration system based on the user’s body weight to revolutionise rehabilitation and training. By utilising a pressurised air chamber to uniformly decrease gravitational load and body weight in exact 1% increments, up to 80%, and at this point you can nearly float.

AlterG allows patients and athletes to move freely and without pain. This promotes the restoration and enhancement of muscle strength, range of motion, balance, function, and overall fitness. No other unweighting technology matches its level of precision, accuracy, and comfort.

It can be used to run, walk, skip, hop, jump.

It means that if you have a fracture and are recovering, you can get back to activity much quicker in the AlterG. If you are awaiting surgery and want to get fitter, you can walk with no pain. If you have had a fall, or don’t feel as confident on your feet, you can use it to get back to walking and improving your confidence.

Alter G Prices

Induction sessions are £84 and 40min in duration.

At this appointment we will go through your history, show you how to set up and use the Alter G, have a test run and/or walk, and create a plan for you to use.

£75 – 30 min supported sessions (with clinician at all times)
