One of the reasons we started the NK Active podcast was to give us, as a team, a platform to talk to you all about the areas of our work and lifestyles that influence the success of our work. It is place we were can not only talk about injuries, conditions and rehabilitation from a professional point of view, but also from the point of view that we have had injuries and needed a recovery and rehabilitation plan too!
Meet the team.
When we were recorded the first NK Active podcast, we each took a turn to introduce ourselves and talk about what we thought was unique and special about the clinic and the way we work with our patients.
Natalie BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy and the NK Active Exercise rehab instructor says that one of the things she loves the good repertoire we have with our patients and the level of trust they have in us, makes supporting them throughout the journey so much better.
Charlie (or officially Dr Charlotte Dando) has a PhD BSc (Hons) and is a Podiatrist and Clinical academic in the NK Active clinic.
Charlie talks about the love of having lots of different patients from all walks of life, all with a different goal! There is something so satisfying about seeing a patient come in with one goal and then moving one to goal four, five, six… as they work through the process.

And Nick Knight, MSC BSc (Hons) MFPM RCPS (Glasg) and our Podiatrist Clinical Director; Nick has a passion for helping people and educating others about Podiatry Sports Medicine and spends his weekends playing sports. Podiatry wasn’t his first career choice though and he is happy to tell you how he moved from the idea of Physiotherapy to Podiatry.
